What rubber-duck is
rubber-duck is a free, open-source Claude Code plugin licensed under the MIT license. It runs locally on your machine and has no backend or paid tier.
Use at your own risk
rubber-duck is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It modifies files in your ~/.claude/ directory during installation. The authors are not responsible for any issues arising from its use.
What you can do
- Use rubber-duck for personal or commercial projects
- Modify, fork, and redistribute it under the MIT license
- Contribute improvements via pull request
What you cannot do
- Redistribute rubber-duck under a different license
- Remove or obscure the copyright notice
- Use the rubber-duck name or branding to misrepresent a different product

rubber-duck is an independent open-source project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Anthropic. Claude Code is a product of Anthropic.
Changes to these terms
Updates to these terms will be committed to the GitHub repository. Continued use of the plugin after changes constitutes acceptance.
